This Privacy Policy explains how the Task Management System app (“we”, “our”, “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use it.

1. Information we collect

• Account info: your name, email address, password (stored securely as a hash), and optionally your mobile number and profile photo.
• Content you create: tasks, subtasks, projects, teams, comments, and the files/images/voice notes you upload.
• Messages: chat messages you send, including text, images, and voice recordings.
• Device token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used to deliver push notifications.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the core features — creating and assigning tasks, projects, teams, and messaging.
• To send you notifications (e.g. when a task is assigned or you receive a message).
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with other users of your organization as needed for the app to work (e.g. teammates see tasks assigned to them and messages you send them). We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications.

4. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on our secure servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Account Deletion page.

6. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
